This can be either fat or muscle predominant. Fat predominant is caused by deposition of fat. Muscle predominant is associated with calf overuse leading the hypertrophy of muscle. Some cases are hereditary.

Radiofrequency is used to create heat induced fat cell death and skin tightening for fat predominant calves thickening. For muscle predominant case, calves slimming can be achieved by direct administration of BTA injection to the muscle.
Who is a good candidate for Calf Contouring?

How long does the result last?
