What is Fotona 4D Laser FaceLift?

The Fotona 4D Laser Facelift is a revolutionary non-surgical laser treatment that target interior oral cavity and exterior skin for lifting. The approach enables full-thickness contraction of collagen for persistent tightening and volumization without injectables. The result is a better skin laxity, improvement of uneven skin tone and texture, reduction of volume loss and wrinkles with overall tightening of the skin contour.

How Fotona works?

The Fotona 4D Laser Facelift Treatment uses dual laser wavelength (Long Pulse Nd:YAG 1064nm and Erbium:YAG 2940nm) with 4 unique laser modes: SMOOTH®, FRAC3®, PIANO® and SupErficial™.

  • The SMOOTH Mode is conducted on the inside of the oral cavity. This non-ablative laser provides a controlled and gentle “bulk-heating” to stimulate collagen contraction as well as the stimulation of new collagen fibers. The primary target during this step are the nasolabial folds, which get a nice plumping effect from the inside out.
  • The FRAC3 Mode uses a fractional beam that targets deeper imperfections to restore a youthful texture and tone to the skin.
  • The PIANO Mode is a safe and fast bulk tissue heating from the outside in by concentrating energy delivery subcutaneously. The bulk heating is used to tighten the skin.
  • The SupErficial Mode is used lastly to improve the appearance of the skin and reduce imperfections with an extremely controlled light peel. This gives the skin a smoother pearl finish.

How many sessions of treatments are needed?
As the laser is a non-surgical and non-invasive treatment, fat cell reduction and tightening of the skin require at least 6-8 sessions of treatment performed every 3-4 weeks. Each procedure takes about 30 minutes.

Does it hurt?
Most patient tolerate the procedure very well and describe the sensation of various lasers as warm tingling and snapping sensation.
